
As drummer for The Public Nuisance, Ron Mc Master opened for The Doors, Buffalo Springfield and The Grateful Dead. Although he later played studio sessions with big names, he soon became interested in mastering, where at EMI, he mastered albums for such groups as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Bowie, The Pet Shop Boys, Sheena Easton and The Ventures. When EMI Studios was folded into Capitol Studios in 1987, Ron joined Capitol Mastering. Ron continues to cut vinyl for many independent clients and producers. Additionally he worked with such talented artists as: Latin Grammy Award winner Luis Miguel, Gloria Estefan, Placido Domingo, Andy Garcia, Doc Severinsen, Wynton Marsalis, Linda Ronstadt and Peggy Lee. A voting member of NARAS, he has been nominated for a Grammy four times.
