Jason Levine
Jason LevineJason Levine brings musical creativity, engineering dexterity and years of live performance to his position with Adobe® as Audition® Product Evangelist. A graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music, Jason is an accomplished musician, talented recording engineer and an ardent music lover.

Before joining Adobe®, Jason held a variety of studio production posts, including stints with Boodah Joo Music, Ltd. of San Francisco, Cyberia/Mediaventures in Santa Monica, Hancock & Joe Productions in Los Angeles and Digital Atomics of Nashville, where he was mastering digital editing and archiving with seven-time Grammy winner Roger Nichols. Most recently, Jason was the Music Director for Syntrillium Software, makers of Cool Edit Pro. Jason's career projects have included engineering on the John Denver collection "Celebration of Life" (1943-1997), archiving and mastering for Roy Orbison's "56-88" and archiving the originals and outtakes on Wynonna Judd's "Wynonna." Jason also engineered and mastered a series of singles for Bay Area band One Man Army, for BYO Records.

As Product Evangelist, Jason is responsible for educating and enlightening users about the power and flexibility of Adobe® Audition® - and how it fits into the Video workflow. As part of the Adobe® Video Collection, Audition® compliments other applications like Premiere® Pro and After Effects® by allowing seamless integration for soundtrack creation, audio restoration and 5.1 surround encoding. Audition® also ships with more than 5,000 original, royalty-free loop files in more than 30 different styles. Jason engineered, produced and performed nearly all of the loops contained in this collection.

In 2004, Jason conducted over 50 master class seminars to more than 10,000 people from Vegas to London and New York to Amsterdam. He recently held audio training sessions for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Electronic Media Conference. Currently, he is developing and hosting training sessions for journalists and engineers at the BBC in London.
